I would love to have a Springfield 1911...but shit a decent one weighs a lot and it's twice as expensive as my Beretta PX4 9mm was...and 45 ammo ain't cheap and it ain't easy to get. I can get 50 rounds of Federal 9mm for $10 at Walmart; 45 is 2 times that or more if you can get it...even on the net sometimes...for everyday carry and regular target shooting, the Beretta suits me just fine, fuck you very much :lol:

I also have a nice little gutshooter Taurus small frame stainless steel .38 that's nice for carry, and an AR15 for when 30 rounds is needed

with a double-mag adapter for shoot-a-thons.

I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of either of those handguns within 25-30 feet...you'll still be just as dead as with a 45...they don't shoot BB's ya know, homo! :mrgreen:

on top of that, NO has a 1911, a .44 magnum S&W, and a shitload of other handguns, rifles, and shotguns...he is fairly heavily armed...he has a 600 lb gun safe that hardly has room left with all the guns and ammo in it now

(but if you're shooting old-cheapy 7.62x54R out of your mosin, for the love of god clean your rifle immediately after shooting... the residue is unbelievably corrosive)

i cleaned it the day after shooting, and it wasnt that dirty any way

I never shoot cheapshit ammo (read WOLF) just for that reason...I hate cleaning guns anyway and the cheap stuff obviously leaves a lot of hard to clean funk behind...my go-to ammo is PMC Bronze for all my shit when you buy cases it's hard to beat the prices
