The Wings of Freedom Tour is at a local airport near here.
http://www.cfdn.org/menu.htm

B-17, B-24, P51 Mustang and other planes.

Can get a 30 minute flight in the B17 or B24 for $425
Or flying instructions in a P51C for a couple of grand.

I may have to drive up there tomorrow to check it out.... 8)

For you Texas hobo's, there are a lot of shows all around the Dallas and Houston areas.
For example: Sugarland, Katy, Ellington AFB, Dallas, Arlington, Tomball......to name a few

They had that out here. Saw the plane and was not too sure about the wood bench and lap belt. $425 seems a bit steep.

I'd pay $425 if I could ride in the nose or the ball turret

there's NO WAY I'd let this opportunity go by without posting one of my favorite large scale effects shots in the movies

I love it when they do the full scale wide angle shot with the horizon and authentic hardware and use real pyrotechnics instead of CGI!

It must have been a blast to step those long strings of charges on the runway for the strafing shots - pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop ! - :D
